I just did what it said to do.

Start taxing the churches. This was a review left on that church in Kalamazoo MI that turned away some homeless folks.

A nasty text from a woman named Shyanna that reads: This is a church, not a homeless shelter. Churches are spaces where Christians who believe int he Lord Jesus Christ, go to meet with one another and do life together. While charity is a part of the Christian faith, churches are not required to meet the demands of anyone who pulls up in their parking lot at any given moment. It's up to each individual and each congregation to decide how to be charitable and what they are convicted to participate in or not. It's a shame that anti-Christian pro trans activist pulled up on this congregation and demanded shelter then slandered them online when the church politely declined. Churches have a duty to their congregation to uphold a level of safety. People make threats to Christians, church leaders, and church programs daily. It's not unreasonable that church parking lots must remain secure and cannot function as a homeless shelter for anyone who wants to camp out there.

That's why so many parents of children with ADHD oare skeptical of the diagnosis; they see a problem that little Timmy Tina has trouble sitting still and paying attention to homework and chores, yet they can sit down in front of a video game for hours at a time! "See, they must be slacking off, they don't really have trouble focusing!" A true ELI5 on how this actually affects people is 'ICNU': Interest, challenge, novelty, and urgency. If something doesn't meet one of those four categories, someone with ADHD just isn't going to be able to do it. Let's use doing the dishes as an example; is it interesting? Not even slightly. Challenging? Not really. Novel? Nah. Urgent? Not yet, but once that person with ADHD needs clean dishes, then it gets done because now it meets one of those four criteria. In that sense, putting things off until the very last second is essentially a coping mechanism for ADHD, rather than a symptom of itself. On a related note, that's also why video games in particular are like the stereotypical ADHD hobby/addiction, most video games check all four of those 'ICNU' boxes at once. They were made for us.
