After a night with Where Winds Meet I can fully say add this to the pile of games I feel would be GOATed if they were not free-to-play; excellent gameplay, aesthetics, exploration all ruined b/c of a cloying cash shop, stamina mechanics, LLM NPCs (lol yup), & non renewable healing items 🫠

No funnies or yuks - just wanted to show off some gameplay of me locking in for some Lethal mode, lategame Ghost of Yotei badassery - love it when a game lets me feel cool via my combat expression

For me, the mark of a good action game is one that can push the player out of their comfort zone & reward them for experimenting with mechanics either with rewards or the simple act of feeling like a total badass. Ghost of Yotei on lethal really makes me feel like I'm Atsu fighting for her life.

What is every single line, barb, joke, emotional ploy was just exquisite? As someone whose favorite MCU scene is the party in the beginning of Age of Ultron, this game is ALMOST ALL THAT! I'm in heaven.
