Blinking through the shock and sudden elation Hermione was feeling, she slowly started to smile and shake her head. “I’m afraid I can’t do that, Draco. My big beautiful brain can’t stop thinking about you and everything you say and do. I guess we’ll both just have to deal with it.”

-I’m sorry, I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, we spend so much time together and I don’t want and unreciprocated feelings of mine to change that so can we please just forget about it?”

Flushing red Draco, sat up straight, drawing attention to how close they had been sitting. “I, I just meant…uh.” Draco sighed and shook his head. “Can we just pretend I didn’t say anything?-

“Care to share what’s going on in that big beautiful brain of yours?” Drawled Draco, startling Hermione out of her thoughts of him.

“Oh! Nothing I was just thinking…wait did you say my brain was beautiful?”

Now except for classes and sleeping they spent almost most all of their time together. Which is fine, totally fine, except Hermione can’t stop thinking about his stupid eyes and his stupid alluring laugh.
