The merchants tried. Even the man from the Trade Authority. They all went down quick. Mathis was stubborn, but fell pretty early, dooming him.

The magnetic shielding from the credits had been tied into the Legacy's shields, keeping it intact. Claiming the cash caused everything to collapse and explode.

Located the legacy. There's already a ship docked with it. Can't tell if it's an emergency shuttle or someone else. Kryx, maybe? Did he find it but never leave? Make it a home? Does he have decendents or crew here?

If the Fleet gets the funds and the symbol of unity they represent they'll become a power to rival the UC and FSC. But losing the Key and the cash would do irreparable damage. Neat. :3
