The 2.5yo who lives in my house ate very little all day and then puked sitting in C’s lap.

We did win the marching band Atlantic Coast Championship the year I was there, which was pretty cool. The band program was so popular (and the school relatively small) that 1/3 of the student population marched.

Same! The high school I attended freshman year marched in the Macy’s parade the year before I arrived and marched in the Rose Bowl parade my sophomore year (after I’d moved again - thanks US Army)

Nearly 21% of the 9/11 victims at the Pentagon were black women. This at a time when they made up a much smaller percentage of the overall U.S. population (about 6.7%) and an even smaller proportion of the national workforce.

Virginia is weird (derogatory). I have a house in generic Fairfax but not City of Fairfax. Also, my current address is a town in a different county that isn’t in the Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area which makes for much confusion when buying a home, among other things.

But not in Fairfax… 😭

First pic was actually from my deck. Did a double take after remembering the sun had set a long time ago and the neighbor’s house doesn’t make that kind of light.
