Velar consonants /k g x/ palatalize to [c ɟ ç] before front vowels, or after if in coda. Geminates only palatalize when before front vowels
The alveolar nasal /n/ becomes palatal [ɲ] before palatals, velar [ŋ] before velars, and uvular [ɴ] before uvulars.

so, abt the direction affixes for verbs of motion in Werat, we've been having some fun with them. All of these could individually be translated as "I crossed the river" as well as the more specific translations given in the image.
