One thing I really appreciate about watercolor is just how little space it takes.

This is my entire travel setup nowadays. Pretty much all the sketchbook paintings have been done with this exact collection of stuff.
A watercolor sketchbook, a portable painter containing watercolor paints, a collapsible cup, and a leather fold containing collapsible brushes.

I know it sounds counterintuitive, but just letting my palette be a mess has been so helpful in mixing nice looking colors, lol.
