Xenobiotic doing a technical deathcore type of thing. I know a lot of people think deathcore is snoozeville, but I think this band has the chops to make it come together in a way that is interesting. Some of the riffs are even a bit Meshuggah-esque.

A lot of what I've been posting is newer so I decided to change it up with some history. My parents were into jazz and country, metal was below them. This song blew my mind and got me into heavier sounds. This was the start of my journey into metal.

Fossilization is a great band. Some really top notch death metal with smart riff writing that creates a splendid atmosphere. Fun for the whole family assuming you have a family full of degenerates.

Been listening to this band a lot lately. I will always have a soft spot for folk metal, and I Lyrre do it in a way that is accessible enough that even non-metalheads and non-folky types can both appreciate. That hurdy-gurdy is super rich sounding.
