Pinned
Well I need something pinned here, I do videos of the anime/ anime-related variety and here are random screencaps of various videos I've done, I think that'll be more cool than just me posting a link (all links in my bio tho, including if anyone needs any video editing, attached a playlist too!)
Most times some discourse occurs I always feel better imagining what if this was about a random slice of life show. Like, what if the discourse about popular fantasy mainstream show was about Lucky Star. What if people are debating the environmentalism of Aria and if its actually a nihilistic show

Reminding everyone, PLEASE, DO NOT sub to your favorite content creators through phone apps as it not only charges you more, it also takes a higher % from us AND to top it all off blocks the money from being received for 30 fucking days for some goddamned reason.
For fucks sake, again with the apple/patreon bullshit. I have to move to monthly billing and fuck me over www.patreon.com/posts/148395...

13 years on your platform. Thanks for nothing patreon. I hope the apple dick is that good.

Yeah, I recommend not using the patreon apple app to join. Just go on the website, it's 1. cheaper for YOU to support your favorite creatures and 2. All the money you give goes to the creator.
I'm begging you not to use apple products. This shit is devastating to creators like me

Words to scare an old head anime fan. It is very fascinating the tide of time though, AOT used to just be a seasonal, people are now "growing up with it" bro I grew up with Precure, Hamtaro and Storm Hawks

The fridge today has got some real bangers, I wanted some more humanity today since my usual scrolls were giving me none of it, but saw some real soul here that picked me up. Shoutouts to Jank (Jank.cool) for featuring this

Everyday I await the moment where popular person you never expect to talk about anime makes a tweet about it and it's a slice of life show that their entire audience has never heard of before

Recently discovered Crumb, and I've been really digging their stuff, a very wide range of sound, of course I gravitate to the lo-fi, somber melodic shoegaze style rock, but their aesthetic is cool throughout, I'm also just a fan of airy trance-like vocals, so that's my bias

CITY's opening was amazing when I first listened and kept listening after the show. And one day I decided, you know what, let me see what else she has done, and then looked into her interviews and then got so absorbed that I couldn't help but want to synthesize that here

Teared up at every episode of Ikoku Nikki so far.

Don't look at the fact that I've been at the death beds of multiple family members in varying parts of my life, but at the fact that the show might be extradionarly good in every aspect, incredibly rich at every step, and has Kensuke Ushio

Okay so I think this is actually an interesting thread

old.reddit.com/r/anime/comm...

There's actually a lot of varied and different perspectives on the topic at hand, and then comes a very VERY sneaky comment here that show to me once again how harmful this term is

I fear all of this Madoka movie delays will cause too much of an increased expectation of what the movie will be. Which I don't blame anyone, and I get it but it's also like, there's plenty of reasons why it might be delayed, like, the production just being fucked as Shaft is wont to do
January 23, 2026 at 5:50 PM
Madoka movie got delayed and I kinda can't help but just go, yeah, makes sense. Not the first rodeo for recent Madoka entries either, just, damn, it be like that.

YT pushing even more AI nonsense with the recent shorts thingy meanwhile 99% of the AI tools they've implemented are harmful, useless, or straight up annoying since you have to disable all of them yourself and its on by default for some reason.

Here's a really goofy music analysis of this scene from Ruri Rocks ep 5 if you listen carefully, as the scene transitions away from the flute and leaves in just the piano and chimes, the scene also cuts to this back view with the porch that looks like a piano (inverted) due to the shadows

There might be a subculture of really detailed and well put together batch downloads of shows that I never realized was a thing, or maybe its just this one person doing this. Idk I feel like I might be going on a rabbit hole because what do you mean you put this much effort into your torrent

The amount of genuine happiness I feel after going out to Prereleases is indescribable. Playing MTG IRL is pure vibes, best card game, so happy to have given it a chance when I did (ignore the fact that I took it down 2-0 with a last game split for max prizing)
January 17, 2026 at 5:56 AM
As Lorwyn Eclipsed dolls out over the next few, I'm reminded that my MTGing this year is also gonna be cut categorically in half due to over half the sets being UB. I love the prerelease experience, I love going to the shop to play but man, I do NOT want to deal with Ninja Turtles and Marvel Guys

I've been thinking about this a bit but, the sentiment of Japanese VN developers shifting towards being more mobage centric and thus not developing VNs because, they're looking at where the money is, and the players being dissatisfied is interesting in a global perspective because, yes, less VNs

Urbano came out with an updated demo a while ago which I played a while ago but never had a chance to talk about, but I did want to say, still very excited for this one:

Anyways, I've been really digging the new Park Bird joint, their music has always been incredibly good to me and the new one is just, idk, very peak ethereal ambience, melodic tenderness, a quietness disturbed by transience
