Dosbox was about the only thing that would run in that piece of shit. Go ahead stick a core 2 duo in a compact aluminum box with no fan and 2 gigs of ram and see how far that gets you for the next 12 years. I hated that thing when it was new, i was still using it in 2022!!!!

it's like an anti nostalgia thing. I grew up with it and I Fucking Hated it. i think it's funny because most people who are into DOS or early windows are remembering it fondly from their childhood, but I just like the idea of hardware and software that doesn't fully suck. I did play dos games though

I like that thing people say about the A button challenge of what the devs would think knowing the game has been turned inside out the way it has... judging by the game itself and how lovingly "programmer" it is and the fact they kept in the bunny and named him after MIPS i think they'd love that

I think more people should read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I grew up with the book and I think it's the biggest influence on a lot of the things I enjoy in really a lot of forms of art... but if anything it'll definitely make you like Mario 64 more

It's all stupid fun bullshit but also how weirdly real Delfino feels, they got everything they could out of the theme. I know people who don't like sunshine say the setting is its only good aspect but i love anything maritime and I still think it's second to the other stuff for why I like it so much

The cutscene audio is mixed so poorly you can barely hear what the hell the characters are saying most of the time. Mario goes to jail. The most stunning visuals and cleanest controls you will ever have in a mario game. They don't make em like they did on the gamecube

technically you can walk very carefully along the edge of the level. Is it worth it? No. This game fucking rocks

The fucking pipe in the lilypad level you think will bring you back to the top so you dont have to die, and it just sends you to the plaza and makes you do the yoshi shit all over again and the realization hits you that you have to get every coin in one shot. i want more games to do that. Please

I get that I have very different taste in video games from most people. but what is there not to love. I know people hate the blue coins and the boats and stuff but i dont get it. I love every bit of stupid bullshit the game throws at you. I've 100%ed it like twice and it never stops being hilarious
