One side effect of the current scourge is the number of marginal actors who have self identified. Some, even now, are attempting to blend back into the scenery where they may yet be tolerated, forgiven even....but no longer trusted.

Looking at the voting blocks. Is it just me, as a white male boomer, or does it seem that white Gen Xr's missed that late 60's early 70's party and have felt aggrieved ever since? It's like not getting the right date for the prom and being pissed. Do all cultural ills start in high school??

"They" are moving fast. Midterms are too far away. If congress doesn't want to work, time to recall each member individually. Unsure how practical it is in the various jurisdictions, but action is preferred to watching it all happen.

It still amazes me that we have this clown in the White House because voter turnout was 1.5% less in 2024. The only reason he is not in jail is because he won 49.8% of the vote.

Guns don't kill people. Bullets do. Bullets are an expendable commodity. Ban all military grade ammo to civilians. Tax regular ammo mightily. A 9mm hollow point costing $50 a piece will, over time, diminish demand. Yes, there will be problems with reloads and black market, etc. But a start.

Yesterday in San Bernadino immigration agents started shooting. The precedent is set. Good faith in law enforcement can no longer be assumed. 30 states have stand your ground statutes, another 8 operate under the castle doctrine which may include your car and place of work.

The Guard callups are indeed performative but could also serve another purpose: To determine who within the command structure down to Sargeants and boots on the ground can be "rellied upon". MAGA is in the 30's nationwide, likely higher within the professional Army. Non-bellievers can be winnowed

Impotent gesturing will no longer suffice. Representatives are eschewing town halls? Systemic, nationwide, recall petitions should be organized. Constituents are angry; primarily at Republicans but also at weak kneed Democrats. Fertile ground for immediate action.

It seems that a primary goal of Project 25 and Doge is to provoke. To provoke a response. Any mass action will then elicit martial law. Kash Patel is now confirmed; I read where Trump is about to fire the generals, including COS. The pieces are moving into place.
