Ah cool! I never got to the point of making a map in Godot but a painting-assist designer that would translate it all back to a tile mapping array seems really nice 😊

And now you have me thinking of the possibility of creating a base tile set and then like, an “overlay” set with like variations in features. Think of like a generic “ground” tile, with possible overlays of one, two, or three stones- would that actually speed things up? Or is it over engineering? 🤔

4/ Next… sleeves! I’ll pick these up from the arm holes as opposed to doing them completely separate because I’ve tried matching up circles in the past and that’s much more work.
Anyway: visual aid!

3/ The trick was pinning the back and front in an offset, because the collar was about 80-85% favoring the front side of the body (as opposed to dead center) when I was fitting it. Yarn stretchiness / forgiveness took care of the rest 😅

2/ No decreases or short rows. I wanted to keep it simple so i could keep at it while watching TV. Or, if i messed up, be able to fix it without a ton of calculus.

Once I gathered and sewed the pieces, the fit just sat correctly. I was kind of fearing the worst.

Both my parents smoked in the house and it just always grossed me out. So much so that I never wanted to pick up the habit.
