In Przemysl, a teddy bear is part of Christmas Decoration. It's golden and has blue scarf.

The city changed the scarf to red after local patriots went mad on the internet that the bear is in the colours of Ukraine.

Plot Twist: Przemysl's coat of arms is bear on blue background surrounded by gold.

Facebook reminded me today how my ex dragged me into playing Farmville with her and then was complaining that I was not very productive there.

But hey, I had a large radiotelescope array on my farm! I had more important things to do!

Meanwhile Israel invades UNWRA HQ in Jerusalem.

news.un.org/en/story/202...

Yes, let it sink. Israel forcibly takes over the institution of the United Nation. Then plants its flag on it while stealing computers and even furniture.

And we'll still be sitting and taking it. Disgusting.

New poster from the Hungarian government.

It translates to "They raise your taxes and spend them in Ukraine on golden toilet bowls".

I would like to draw your attention to the state of the wall the poster is placed at. It's a Hungarian railway station.

One can ask: where Hungarian taxes go to?

I did an experiment. I asked grok an inconvenient question under one of those Russians post. Grok replied to me. Then came again, unasked, attempting to recover.

and they should have buses waiting for them as soon as they leave the station, like so.

Can you see why this is much more convienient, and barely at the expense of 12 parking spaces or so?

(and you can use space wasted for that covered walkway to get those 12 parking spaces in again).

but passengers have to get out of the underground system and then used the GROUND LEVEL COVERED WALKWAY to go to the bus stop that is far away.

This is transit? Aka public transport?

Looks like a supermarket car park for me...

Call me weird but if I think about public transport, I think of things like those:

Imagine that. There are people who paid that big corporation REAL money to get some "collectible avatar".

And now that corporation decided to get rid of those...

They walk amongst us. And have right to vote, and everything.

So I have been walking around Helsinki and I think I took a wrong turn but I am happy with where I ended at :-)

Apparently yes: you can use your Volvo cement mixer instead!
December 3, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Imagine, your construction business is not doing well and you decided to become a grower of moss and lichen.

Is there a better way to do so than by using your Sisu cement mixer for this purpose?

As an adopter of two beatiful cats I can confirm this is true.

If you really think we need to listen to some Russians, forget "navalnist" and other "Russian opposition" activists, who are too afraid to call the war for what it is and are only concerned about "poor Russians suffering under evil Putin".

Cost of purchase of powerbanks: 7554 PLN (netto). A friend offered to help us to purchase them, she took care of VAT and only “charged” us 7500 PLN.

As I had 263.69 donated in PLN, I only needed to €1708,90 to meet the remaining balance of 7236.01 PLN.
November 25, 2025 at 7:05 PM
As you might have noticed, thanks to all the discounts we got, we were left with 116.72 euro change, which I donated to AutaUkrainaa, a charity run by the Ukrainian Association in Finland, Ukrainalaisten yhdistys Suomessa ry.

I donated for helping Ukrainian hospitals, including field hospitals.

As for the car, there is still some snag with the paperwork, so it waits in Lviv. After the paperwork will be sorted, it will be serviced and also sent where it needs to be.
November 25, 2025 at 4:58 PM
After I physically handed over the car, we drove to the postal warehouse in order to send the powerbanks away, so they get where they are needed ASAP. As I write those words, they are already working on the frontline.

I am happy to report Stas was doing great for first time in a RHD car :-)
