They were assigned this duty by trump and his cronies, not of their own volition. trump has repeated ignored judge orders to not send the Guard Units to cities with no cause, but of course trump &cronies just ignore judge orders & are never held accountable for that. I expected ICE goons to be shot.

The Orange Fuhrer will shortly invoke the Insurrection Act because of this. Maybe he and his cronies staged it? If it was for real, I wish it had been ICE goons shot and not the red state Nat Guard unit members ORDERED there by trump and his cronies.
