Post Trump there will be a day of reckoning

Witkoff thinks Putin will never surrender or stop. He also knows Trump is demanding a "peace plan" be signed ASAP so he can demand the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025.
Trump thinks he is able to force Ukraine into a surrender pact because he can't comprehend people dying for something they believe in

@trryjhrrs.bsky.social has this right. Pass a bill in the short session that will take effect if the transportation tax is referred and defeated. And maybe it's more expansive than the one being referred. And pass a list of ODOT cuts that are all in Republican districts as an alternative

He gives independents a bad name. Most former Ds and Rs who think "their party left them and now I have to run as an independent cuz that's 40% of the voters" have no idea how to appeal to independent voters, who they are and the role those voters play in a two party first past the post system

And on culture and ideology? Because that's where the Dems are missing the winning edge. Not on economics.

Never miss the chance to miss the chance to be the leader of a nation when you can be the leader of half a nation.

There will be a day of reckoning for Trump's legacy and his elected and non elected enablers. There will be a Ken Burns documentary and they will be rightly portrayed as the traitors to the ongoing American Constitutional experiment.

Establish a non profit social media platform that rebates some $ to members who signed up and used the platform - raised from the user authorized sale of their data /usage. Basically - sell the data of users but instead of profit going to Zuckerman it goes to operations with excess back to users.

This happened in a city next to ours
It's happening daily in our city.
While a city's ability to stop these brutal assaults on residents is limited by law there will be a day of legal reckoning for those who perform, order and lie about these abuses. See it, say it, record it.

Not sure what word would describe a government that includes elements of a Kleptocracy, Kakistoracy, national socialism, and authoritarianism. But whatever that word is....we're being ruled by it.

Reduce the powers of the president. Congress take power back. Solves some of these problems.

This. Maybe a preference or even a preference lean is a better description than ideology

I love the data and the presentation. My quibble would be that those affordability+non or less ideoligical voters really do have underlying ideologies. Just ask them how they are going to address affordability. Increased taxes? On whom? Decrease "waste fraud and abuse" deport people?

I guess we know why MBS laughed and agreed to Trumps spur of the moment on camera demand to increase the Saudi promised investment in the US from 600 billion to a trillion dollars.
Because neither is anywhere near realistic.
