Midweek roast to get us through Humpday. We don’t do Sunday lunch often so roasts are rare. Defo took its toll on my back cooking it, easier with two people. Gluten free yorkies were on form though. Have I mentioned (🤣) how chuffed I am that I’ve nailed them?

This eBay purchase arrived today (replacing the one I lost but had in my original collection) It arrived in a card mailing envelope sandwiched between two David Essex LPs 🤣
Gotta love Hanoi Rocks, ‘Dead by Christmas’ is by far my favourite record.

I can honestly say it is proper crusty, I’ve missed crusty bread so much! It tastes good too. It looks the part for sure.
Added bonus, if someone attacks me I could swing it at them and knock them out lol. This is how I know this gluten free 🤣

Having a go at gluten free bread. 🥖 to go with the soup I made earlier. Recipe says to put in fridge overnight before baking so with luck I can bake it fresh to have for lunch. Never heard of putting bread dough in the fridge after proving before but then I haven’t made bread 🤷♀️

Well, soup is done. Gave it a bit of a whizz with the stick blender, not smooth but more ‘refined’(haha like I’ve ever been refined). Tasted it and to be fair it’s tastes good. Just as well really because I hate soup and have made about a gallon 🤣

Decided to make chicken & veg soup. No recipe, no clue. Just chucked chicken, veg, herbs from bottom of the fridge & water in a pot and leaving to simmer while I binge Van Helsing. Wish me luck!
