This #FursuitFriday is my birthday, and the 5 year anniversary of the very first time I took this fluffball out!
& more out than I'd first intended, since this was a public park rather than a con. I got a bit nervous when I realized I'd have all the attention but I'm glad I did bc people loved it

So reddit comes to the rescue and points out the lit eyes thing was a tribute to a more general trope in early film, such as this shot of Lugosi as Dracula. It's just very silly looking when you add on 50 years of aesthetic realism.
