Spanning several decades, it follows a Palestinian family uprooted during the 1948 Nakba, then struck by tragedy during the First Intifada in 1988, and the generational trauma that carries through to 2022.

It most definitely deserves more nominations and awards than it will probably get.

It was totally worth it. The filmmaking, the music, the performances, the story, and what it represents are all remarkable. It takes a bit too long to get to the core of the plot, but once it does, the payoff is there.
