Part of me is thinking I might make it readable, add some classic art, and put it on Drive-Thru or something. Just to get it out in the world. Another part is thinking a quick-start guide for play testing.

words of rules and dice mechanics, character creation, a life-path based on playing cards (or tarot), and the various systems meant to emulate life in the Renaissance. I've written out a few examples of play, some notes on the world, and a list of games and creators whose work inspired the game.

A low roll introduces a complication; a high roll might introduce a benefit. And in the middle of all this, there's a system for inspiration, creation, and execution of your art form. Your Sistine Chapel, your David . . .

I borrowed liberally from games like Pendragon and Dungeon World to create a foundation for a generational RPG about art, politics, patronage, madness, and horror. Painters, sculptors, poets, even philosophers all vie for attention and patronage against the turbulent backdrop of a slightly . . .

10. Approx. 50K words of ephemera: notes, snippets, poetry, and blog posts.

I've got 6 active novel ideas, ranging from historical fiction to contemporary magical realism.

7. 5 uncollected stories set in the Garden
8. Approximately 60K words on three different novel ideas that fizzled out (The Persian, Crown of Thorns, and Neverland)
9. The bones and basic mechanics for a story-telling art RPG set in the Renaissance ("La Serenissima", approx. 12K words)

Think Practical Magic meets Harry's Trees, but set in the Deep South. It's about a writer who has lost his way, inherits a mystical shop, and finally discovers something to write about.

I'm not projecting, you're projecting! 😅

But, which one, which one?
