There is a massive overlap of colour uniform illustrations and my modelling habits. Plus comics, which themselves are illustrative!
Chappell and Kevin Lyles….and Lyles sculpted - once!

1988….wow….nearly finished uni that year - Horan’s Gandamak diorama on the front of MilMod!

My mate Tom worked there before joining me as a geophysicist. He had the biggest mop top in the history of mop tops. Definitely there in 1989. I think the guy who runs Esquires now was there as well.

Seems kind of impossible to think he’s gone. This was such an amazing album and still utterly brilliant.
(Also bought at Bedford Our Price in 1989, but I wasn’t 16)
RIP Mani

That’s almost certainly me, there’s nothing rancid about my family. A touch pickled at times, but what do you expect!

Some great work well rewarded!

Nice!
I have this guy, and other SW figures…you’ve tempted me!

Did a good bit of research, and it’s satisfying when all the colours and beadwork are actual real world!
Thanks so much.

Thanks! I tried to keep it simple, but I always enjoy groundwork.
What I was really proud of, that’s not visible in these photos, is the base itself.
If stalled on the project until I found this base!

I have just returned and seen this! I have the book but no signature in mine! Great find!

I have the 2 British head sets.
Without a doubt the best out there, as good as the early Hornet sets.
The helmeted heads are excellent and features the helmet liners on the head and the helmets are separate.
Lots of character on all the heads.

They are remarkable creatures and that is such a beautiful photo!
From my experience they have a ludicrously high pain threshold.
So pleased she’s thriving

Been away from BkueSky for a bit and just seen this!! Poor thing…and poor you!!!
Nothing as extreme here but my Jem at 11 months broke out of the house in her first season and double fractured her leg. She’s had metal plates for 11 years now!
Tough one! Hope all is going well

All opinions welcome here! Thank you.
I’ve used Magic Sculpt and GS mixes before. Just trying to find out the AS properties here.

Appreciated!
Fingers crossed he’ll end up up looking a bit like I envision!!! A long way to go!

Thank you.

Yes, sadly they’re not. A one man operation who said a few years ago his eyesight wasn’t up to it anymore. It was an eclectic range! Things still pop up on eBay, though.
