$2 thrift store finds adding to my small collection of vintage American mugs are this Homer Laughlin mug from 1979 and another Shenango diner style mug circa 1920-1940 to pair with my 1954 mug.

Very cool that Safeway sells Mae Ploy brand Thai curry paste. If you want to cook a Thai green or red curry, this is the one to get. Price can't be beat either. 1/5 the price per ounce of the competing non-Thai brand!

This bike signal detection light is a good idea but I was confused which crossing direction it’s indicating and there appear to be two induction loops. Doesn’t help that you look at the sign toward 70th St. The bike signal is for crossing the station garage entrance which has separate bike markings.

Wife’s first e-bike ride: we went to the library to get her library card, rode a path lined with grazing lil’ bunnies, watched the sun set at the beach, and finished with ramen for dinner. Santa Barbara BCycle monthly pass paid for itself in one evening.

It makes hills a piece of cake!

They got permission to use UW's logo for the UW Station pictogram. Or they could use a symbol already associated with downtown Seattle transit. seattletransitblog.com/2015/07/06/s...
