This island can tell a tale or two. New top is cherry via my wife's family camp on the Tug Hill. Some cherry in the cabinet survived our house fire, reclaimed. Black walnut posts at the corners were stored in my childhood home for decades. Interior panels are subfloor left from the reconstruction.

Off-Leash. We did find enough snow in the FLNF to XC Ski! Back Country skiing is often bushwhacking & following the paths of fauna. It's not fast nor pretty & it's work. Secret Pond allowed me to "skate" & Penny to work off some winter weight. No skijoring this time! #backcountryxc #flnf #offleash

I gave up on the NFL years back b/c of the officiating. With Allen's maturity and a team that played like a team, I jumped back on the Bills wagon this season. Watching them lose the conference game b/c of bad officiating was tough. Not watching the SB. Not helping the NFL. I'm with James Cook.

Skied a few ticks on the Interlocken and some spurs. Nice & cold. 2 little snow 2 cover limbfall frost heave & forbidden snowmobile washboards. Postholes from hikers but not terrible given the lack of snow depth. Companions loved it tho! #xcfingerlakes #xcskiing #backcountryxc #dogsofthefingerlakes
