Same! A short walk from the ExCel centre after a show, you can sit and watch the planes taking off across the water. Even better sat in the sun.

I still have my copy of "Creating Killer Web Sites".

Here's another YouTube channel (which you may have already come across): www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdKV... Again, another upgrade video :)

True, saw that. I wanted to do that with my garden too (I have a homemade ~2,500 litre underground water storage) for all garden usage. Downside is my garden is on a slope (~1.5m rise from patio to garage, not linear). Eg, Automate sub surface grass watering if hydro level low.

Not sure how much space you have in Brooklyn (on a roof?). If you only have one or two bed the automatic control might be overkill. I have two ways to check if I need to refill. 1) Dig into the soil to see where it is damp. 2) Look down the intake pipe to see if it is dry.

I also made storage for the garden sofa cushions using the same frame (but with a wooden bottom). Still used damp proof lining, but then used some thin ply on top so that the cushions would not sweat. Width is the size of one fence panel. Attached to fence posts to help strengthen fence.

Corrugated pipes laid out with vermiculite 'bedding' in to check everything works. Spoiler alert: Everything worked!

Nice. This was the actual video I used (I took note of the spacing between pipes): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp9J...
I have only filled it once this year (so far) because of the wet Spring and the depth of the beds (about 60cm). The intake pipe is standard gutter downpipe (68mm). Easier to fill.

Thanks. Yes, holds water very well (the overflow outlet has been used). Before filling it in, I left the pipes (see a following post) open to the elements to see if any water escaped. It did not. Reason for damp-proof? I had a large roll in the garage :)

Raised beds with garlic and potato plants. The garlics went in over winter along with some of the potato plants. I added a few more potatoes (I forgot I had put the potatoes in before), but with a slow spring they have really taken off. Not watered from above. One refill this year so far.

If you are interested in SIPs, watch this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHY5... I built mine from his version 1 video a few years ago. I pretty much did exactly what he shows, but used damp-proof lining instead of pond. Three years on and still going strong (see my next post).

Nicely done. Here are my two from almost three years ago. The are both SIPs (sub irrigated planter) and still working well! Only had to top them up last week for the first time this summer (almost no meaningful rain in London for a month).

True. Sounds like the station got an upgrade (new platforms?) or reorganisation and someone forgot to check how to navigate the place afterwards. Could be worse, could be Stratford in London where platforms 1 & 2 are next to 12 & 11 and there is no platform 7.

Do the directions for platforms 3-19 (left sign in the photo) indicate only stairs down to the platforms, while the other platforms 3-19 (right sign in the photo) show escalators?
The platforms 1-4 (left sign) suggests head towards 3-19 and then turn right.

Same. So close, yet so far - they had one job to do.
