no I don’t think that’s right. there are all sorts of algos that don’t use perceptrons at all (svms, knn, gmms, decision trees/forests, really most of the stuff in sklearn haha). And then there’s a whole lot of stuff that does use neural networks but not the attention mechanism 1/
