They were hella old, and I’d never worked on them before. I’ve always felt really good I did that.

I was decomming a small data center (glorified closet with an AC unit) for a company I worked for. All the other ‘IT folks’ said, ‘don’t worry about the switches, they wipe those first.’ I knew they were wrong so had to figure out how to wipe (or destroy) them before I sent them out.
