Snow on busy roads gets slushy. I guess by the heat that cars dump on the road. It’s a lot slippier than just packed snow which is so much fun to ride on.

If you're dead set on getting it out try regular tweezers, or buy ESD angled tweezers. The sides stick out a bit and if you alternate pushing each side up it'll come free.

These connectors can be a pain in the ass. It's almost as if they require a special tool. The most reliable way to get them out is to wiggle the wires, which is AWFUL because they might come out of the housing.

I won't publish it until it matures a bit. I don't want to deal with breaking the api when it hasn't been established yet.
