I've designed and am now producing energy recovery ventilators of many times the performance to cost ratio of those which were previously available for a home. An ERV transfers heat from outgoing to incoming ventilation air. Details at www.openerv.ca .
at least they aren't germ theory deniers. they will miss the mark this way or that way, but such people will always miss. It's still ignorance.

Why can they just not get bluesky working better? There are so so many already. To some degree it is just more progress needed I guess.

I broke my hand once and it took about a year to heal the joint :(. But there is an optimal stress level for many of these biomechanical healing things. Right now my achilles tendon is all messed up and I can't run :(. I fear part of aging is just more stuff like this :(.

In a mylar bag :( lol that guy is funny tho! :D. Seaweed can be pretty tasty. I've had nori chips. They put a little oil and salt on them and they are good!

That may be so but if it is I think they should try to tackle that instead of just rolling over :p

So each classroom gets rinky dink undersized machines, instead of like 3x the actual air cleaning capacity. I mean if you want to spend 3x go for, I see no real problem with that. But they don't. They cut air cleaning power instead!

I believe we have a real problem in society where we rush rush instead of wisely focusing on doing the right things, which we do not need to rush in order to make a living doing. I don't mean money but abstract profit... Surely this is deeply worth doing? I went all the way to Serbia for an mri

Lead is extremely toxic, in some ways more so than arsenic. You should use bismuth instead.

I'm also going to make num 7 able to fit the filtrete filters in the vvv. I suspect that will give better flow even though my tests indicated it was nearly the same I'm a little doubtful. Defintely good to be able to use a range of actual filter sizes though.

By that I mean I got the yeah but they don't cover the full cost of all the machines I'm supposed to make in the pilot stage. The plan was to collect additional money by selling the machines somehow, which is bound to be doable but I am noticing that when I have to ask for $ less prevention ensues

I would really like to get done funding from the pandemic preparedness programs the good gov has set up, it fits right in with their mission and if the machines were free it would be a lot easier to get them into classrooms. Right now I'm basically just paying for them myself.

I honestly think part of the problem here is that we do not generalize. This is not confined to sexual assaults. As you indicate it's power. I think there is a sort of ongoing bargaining between almost all people, this guy somehow was able to leverage things to get his evil tolerated.

There are severe issues with almost everyone's thinking processes on these subjects. We should have understood these things a long time ago and acted sensibly in accordance with the knowledge. It's all ancient stuff.

I do have ideas for enclosing it in a cage however for tamper pricing in general the cheapest way is I think to hang it from the ceiling. Building a cage around it would be expensive. Other machines have similar problems. The ones that don't... Are v expensive. So their approach not really a soln

You can add that, it can even connect over Wi-Fi and be separate from the device. It's open source. Or you can modify the firmware. My job is to provide a solid foundation, which allows others to innovate such features on top. Another idea is auto power increase when ambient noise is high.

The onus also less with the rest of the world here. They should have stepped right in and taken over. Not that that excuses the us but we have to ask if we want someone to blame for failing or if we want to succeed. There was nothing stopping others from stepping in :(.

Gary turner has measured the efficiency of merv13 polypropylene filters and found it to be very high at low face velocities. Like 99 percent. Secondly even the pessimistic estimates are 85% efficiency. So it is equivalent to 3-4 of the ma112 units, at a given noise level.

The flow rates and time of day of the report is logged to the mqtt channel. You could write a python script to collect the data and process it to give such data, for sure. It's important to have interfaces so others can easily do such things, but I leave that to others.
June 30, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Yeah, I left that to the operator. It just calculates a percent flow health indication. If someone puts a hole in one filter it would indicate >100% flow, which obviously indicates a problem.

Actually the Senate I use is one of the ones described in that data sheet :). The sdp810A-125. It works great :). They are $25 cad each tho :(
