WE WON! After 42 days of striking we have a tentative agreement in hand that protects our existing 4 day work week, establishes a minimum salary, and adds protections against AI replacing jobs at our workplace!

Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

@opeiu.org & @aflcio.org filed a motion asking the Supreme Court to review the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal’s ruling that the NLRB is likely unconstitutional & prevents the agency from pursuing ULP charges against employers in Texas, Louisiana & Mississippi. aflcio.org/press/releas...

The @nytguildtech.bsky.social have been steadfast allies of ours throughout this whole thing and instrumental to showing us how to strike!
One year ago we took a step into the unknown as a unit. We walked out on a ULP strike, fighting for just cause, fair wages, and remote worker protections. A supermajority of our unit participated in this historic action, and it worked - we won our first contract.
