Here's pic of the Skagit River between Concrete & Hamilton WA showing the river flooding.

It isn't supposed to crest until tomorrow a couple more feet of water is coming. One log I saw two days ago had a raccoon on it as it travelled down the River to the Sound.

dear portlanders, if you learn to use an umbrella, you won’t drench the person you sit by on the bus with your soaked coat. 🤷🏻‍♀️

stop ordering robot food.
I came across *the* example I have been hammering with these food delivery robots.

A man with a mobility aid is forced to step aside because there is not room for him because the robot will not make room for a person (esp. those with a mobility aid who need addditional room)

So love wobbegongs. Everything is good about the wobbegong. Its name. Its flattened Oscar the Grouch face. Its frondy bits. Its lazy life as a hungry rug. And it’s a shark. Outstanding animal 10/10
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Rhubarb seed pods in June.

Some gardeners remove the flower stalks and seeds but I think they’re beautiful.

You might notice a similarity to buckwheat. They’re in the same family (Polygonaceae), but with rhubarb, it’s only the stalks that are eaten.

Never apologize for treating your dog like a baby. In a world that forces you to be tough, having a creature that lets you be soft, nurturing, and vulnerable is a blessing. You are lucky if one loves you, you are luckier still if you love each other.
