I re-watched the film Dr. No for my birthday and was reminded of the stellar set designs and shots created for the classic Bond films.

Professor Dent meeting with the villain is my favorite scene of the film. Everything elevates the narrative's tension, Dr. No's mystique, and this room is AMAZING.
An adult man stands in the middle of a mostly empty room. His white leisure suit is partially lit by sunlight slipping through a circular skylight. The thick, metal grating crossing the skylight casts a shadow reminiscent of jail bars across the man, wall, and doorway he entered from. A single wood chair stands in the middle of a triangular stage in the corner of the room. A middle-aged man sits crookedly in a black, wooden chair. His right hand tightly grips a grass-woven hat resting on his lap while his left hand fiercely grips the chair's seat. He stares upwards, off-camera his eyes wide and jaw taut. Wicked Paralogos with "Magic" word focus. She is purple with a pink face, two crests, and external ears. She has iridescent light markings and two iridescent semi-transparent frills. Paralogos with "Unicorn" word focus. He is white with lavender mane and a purple tail. His crest resembles a unicorn horn. He has pink markings on his tail and face. His purple crest is semi-transparent. Paralogos with "Uranium" word focus. They are yellow and grey-ish green, with a design reminiscent of a hazmat suit. They wear a gas mask over their face and their crest frill is in the shape of the planet Uranus. Their tail glows bright green. Paralogos with "Ahinahina" word focus. She is a light blue-grey in color with brown extremities. Her crest and body spikes resemble Hawaiian silversword (Ahinahina) leaves. Her tail is green with small red flower buds, resembling the plant in bloom.

We see two house sparrows drinking out of a puddle. The male says to the female: "Good puddle!" to which she replies "I love you but you have low standards". Pigeons arrive in the background, the female says "Ope! Here comes the herd" There is a long horizontal frame of the two sparrows in the midst of a bunch of pigeons cooing around them. "AI" image generation is not primarily used to make cats dance ballet or whatever, it's mostly used to non-consensually undress real women and pose them in sexual situations against their will. "AI" is being leveraged by men to control, humiliate, and shame women in real life.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (N64) (1996)

The Battle of Hoth, a defensive mission to stall the Imperial assault until all the rebel forces leave Echo Base. We see our hero flying a snowspeeder dangerously close to the kinda camel shaped AT-AT metal monsters while rogue leader is constantly yelling in his ear to fire the damn tow cable, which he did and he's wrapping it around the AT-AT's legs and he's doing great so shut it rogue leader. Wow the Empire really did hire the worst techbros to design their machines, they all have glaring flaws and weak spots. I just wanna mention this is one of my favorite games ever (I played the PC version back in the day), it's janky and often unfairly difficult but it's got a bit of somethin' somethin' there. The dashing Dash Rendar, rendered in ultra detailed low-poly, faithfully showing his rugged looks, sleek mullet and puffy brown life jacket. He's standing in front of a frosty barren wall of Echo Base, visually distinctive by its vast, endless halls with stretched textures and repeating patterns, giving the surroundings a very lonely, liminal space feel. Dash's ship, the Outrider flying through an asteroid field and getting very close to an Imperial Star Destroyer. The Outrider kinda looks like a baby version of the Millennium Falcon with a similar saucer and asymmetrical design philosophy, but with a neat trick of being able to rotate the central part and its extended left arm, or was that just the toys I can't remember. A closeup of an IG-88 assassin droid, a very lanky, robot with a penis-shaped head wielding some kinda laser rifle, being very determined to fry Mr. Rendar's ass.
