In the former Baťa factory building, as part of the concert series pssst, we will present — in its Slovak premiere — the French-German project BRUINE, performed by Emilie Škrijelj, Michael Thieke and Tom Malmendier. BRUINE is a project at the intersection of concert and sound installation, weaving an abstract electroacoustic landscape from a delicate network of objects and speakers.

From the lineup of the úúú programme line, we present the students of the Department of Intermedia at AFAD together with Fero Király.
Their work, Finding the Waves, presented at úúú x pssst: OBJEKT, is a collective project by students enrolled in the course SOUND III at the Department of Intermedia, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, who unexpectedly found themselves facing the task of creating a sound installation.
The úúú series is part of the project Sila zvuku, which is included in Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The partner is the European Union.

Performatívna zvuková inštalácia Chceme všetko je vytvorená špeciálne pre priestor bývalej Baťovej továrne v Partizánskom. Elia Moretti prostredníctvom zvuku a priestoru v diele reflektuje dôstojnosť práce a naše prepojenie s predmetmi, ktoré formujú každodenný život.
Séria úúú je aktivitou projektu Sila zvuku, ktorý je súčasťou Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 finančne podporujú Mesto Trenčín, Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj a Ministerstvo kultúry SR. Partnerom je Európska únia.

We’re introducing another artist of the úúú dramaturgical line for the second edition of the sound and concert series úúú x pssst: OBJEKT — Elia Moretti.
The performative sound installation Chceme všetko is created specifically for the space of the former Baťa factory in Partizánske. Through sound and space, the composer reflects on the dignity of labor and our connection to the objects that shape everyday life.
The úúú series is part of the project Sila zvuku, which is included in Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The project is co-funded by the European Union.

Peter Cusack sa venuje terénnemu mapovaniu zvukov a dlhodobo rozvíja projekty pracujúce so záujmom o zvukové prostredia. Inicioval projekt Favourite Sounds Project, ktorého cieľom je zistiť, čo považujú ľudia za pozitívne v každodenných zvukových prostrediach, a projekt Sounds from Dangerous Places, ktorý využíva zvukovú žurnalistiku na skúmanie miest s veľkým environmentálnym poškodením, ako je černobyľská vylúčená zóna alebo Aralské more v Strednej Ázii. Zameriava sa na sledovanie zvukových dopadov klimatickej krízy. Hrá improvizovanú hudbu na gitare a príležitostne píše piesne. V rokoch 2011–12 bol hosťom DAAD Künstlerprogramm v Berlíne. V ostatných rokoch sa zapojil do projektov radio.aporee/radio.earth, do projektov ekologického rádio vysielania, zvukových vychádzok a hrania na gitare spôsobom, ktorý považuje zvukové prostredie za rovnocenného účastníka. Vyvinul tiež spôsoby, ako živým spôsobom prehrávať terénne nahrávky počas vystúpení s inými hudobníkmi aj ako sólista.

Peter Cusack is engaged in field sound mapping and has long been developing projects centered on an interest in sound environments. He initiated the Favourite Sounds Project, which aims to discover what people find positive in their everyday soundscapes, and Sounds from Dangerous Places, a project that uses sound journalism to explore sites of severe environmental damage, such as the Chernobyl exclusion zone or the Aral Sea in Central Asia. His work also focuses on tracing the sonic impacts of the climate crisis.
He plays improvised music on guitar and occasionally writes songs. In 2011–12, he was a guest of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program. In recent years, he has participated in projects such as radio.aporee/radio.earth, ecological radio broadcasting, sound walks, and guitar playing that treats the sound environment as an equal participant. Predstavujeme prvé z účinkujúcich mien z dramaturgickej línie úúú, Michala Kindernaya, ktorý sa predstaví už 15. novembra v rámci celodenného podujatia úúú x pssst: OBJEKT v Partizánskom vo Fabrike 61, v rámci Trenčín 2026.

Michal Kindernay je intermediálny umelec, zvukový umelec, performer a kurátor. Jeho audiovizuálne inštalácie prepájajú oblasti a nástroje umenia, technológie a vedy. Často sa zaoberá ekologickými témami a využíva technologické prístupy na reflexiu environmentálnych otázok vo vzťahu k prírode. Jeho tvorba zahŕňa video performance a interaktívne inštalácie, intermédiálne a dokumentárne projekty, ako aj hudobné zvukové objekty a kompozície. Spolupracuje aj na viacerých divadelných, tanečných a hudobných projektoch. Je spoluzakladateľom neziskovej umeleckej organizácie yo-yo a iniciátorom projektu RurArtMap. Dlhodobo pôsobí ako externý lektor na Katedre audiovizuálnych štúdií FAMU a spolupracuje aj s Inštitútom intermediality. Účastní sa magisterského programu Art & Research na Pražskej mestskej univerzite. V súčasnosti pokračuje v doktorandskom štúdiu na Fakulte výtvarných umení v Brne. Michal Kindernay žije a pracuje v Prahe. Ako kurátor, organizátor a umelec sa podieľal na viacerých medzinárodných projektoch.

Michal Kindernay is an intermedia artist, sound artist, performer, and curator. His audiovisual installations connect the fields and tools of art, technology, and science. He often engages with ecological themes and uses technological approaches to reflect on environmental issues in relation to nature. His work includes video performances and interactive installations, intermedia and documentary projects, as well as musical sound objects and compositions. He also collaborates on numerous theatre, dance, and music projects.
He is a co-founder of the non-profit art organization yo-yo and the initiator of the RurArtMap project. He has long been active as an external lecturer at the Department of Audiovisual Studies at FAMU and also collaborates with the Institute of Intermedia. He is enrolled in the master’s program Art & Research at Prague City University and is currently pursuing his PhD at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno.
Michal Kindernay lives and works in Prague. As a curator, organizer, and artist, he has contributed to numerous international projects.
The úúú series is part of the Sila zvuku project, within Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. Partner is the European Union.
