GO-MAN by @hamishsteele.bsky.social - simply joyous. Everything that is fun and good about superhero storytelling, and indeed about life - friendship, self-acceptance, giant robots fighting cool weird monsters - boiled down into one technically and emotionally stunning, INCREDIBLY FUN comic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Translating the comic directly to the screen would have been too risky/expensive back then, but Trachtenberg is DEFINITELY one of us. The fact that Yautja - an objectively silly name - has been spoken out loud in a Predator movie makes my heart sing

Aaaand I was so disappointed that the AVP movie we got wasn't an adaptation of the awesome original comic IMO. Only a few aspects were carried over.
