It's taken much longer than expected, but the update for the new transportation system is finally live!

Global storage is out and supply lines are in! (All while staying away from too much micromanagement!)

Deep Space Directive releases in a little over a week! 🤯

Plenty of times I didn't think the project would make it. I learned a lot along the way. Feels good - even if there's a lot more to do.

It always seems like a good idea to add more Steam achievements until I have to make icons for them...

I really didn't like using a dropdown to change building production. On so many layers it just didn't work.

So I redesigned it. Now players get a popout menu with a ton more info. #gamedev #indiegamedev

Playing around with @unity.com new awaitable functions and moving particles. Was able to move the math calculations to a second thread - cutting the performance hit on the main thread to 25%. Not too shabby. 👏👏👏

There's something deeply satisfying with removing allocations and seeing the GC drop in the profiler.

Still got a way to go, but slowly chipping away :)
