some peoples favorite media was the 90s Mario Cartoon and the 90s Sonic Cartoon, AT LEAST those attempted to do SOMETHING even if it was weird and "bad". We will see, I hope the kids have a good time, but man I wish there was more care into making stuff for them

Yes it's for babies, but I've seen little kids movies that have more going on before (Winnie The Pooh has some bangers when I'd watch my nephew). I think the worst sin a movie can BE is boring. It can be 'busted', it can be 'basic', but 'boring' is the most egregious sin. Target Demographic or not

i feel like the movies biggest issues have been they don't have a real -story- and even for a kids movie, that's baseline. It felt like very "here's a mario reference, cmon you like mario kart, you like donkey kong, look at this!" and the novelty of that doesn't replace a story. Kids deserve better
