For Chron's it's for inactive phase, to restrict foods that can cause inflammation flare ups, it's worked enough for me that I have fewer, less severe and able to forgo infusions.

Nope. It was/is an option but I got turned on to a great diet called FODMAP from Monash University that has my flare ups under "control" so to speak
