So sorry to hear this. Sadly so many of us have been led to believe that smoking is the only risk factor for lung cancer. It turns out the biggest risk factor is having lungs. Sending you peace and comfort.

Early detection of lung cancer is key to improving outcomes. We also need to find ways to identify lung cancer in those who don't fit the scanning criteria - like younger people with no tobacco or light use. Anyone can get lunch cancer. Wonderful to hear of this procedure.
