The new Bluesky OAuth is more secure from a security perspective. However, it does not persist across devices. This means if you sign in on Firebase, you will need to reauthenticate with Bluesky OAuth to obtain a fresh DPoP and authentication session on that device.

As we transition to full account support, you will now be able to update your password and change your credentials. This includes using Bluesky OAuth and DPoP, which will completely decouple our old authentication method.
