Fairly solid platformer. Really captures the spirit of the cartoon and can just be fun to pick up and play if a bit too short and if the pogo stick can be kinda finicky at times.

Really don’t have a whole lot to say that everyone else hasn’t said already. It’s the best game in the Mario trilogy and one of the best on the NES. Anyone who hasn’t played it needs to.

Come to appreciate this game a lot more in recent times. I’d even say it’s better than the first game. The vertical platforming was a nice way to add on to the horizontal platforming introduced in the first game and the game is very fun to master.
