Try to make something that you want to play~ 8D It doesn't have to be anything groundbreaking, or incredibly shiny, as long as it's your game that you put time and effort into making- that effort will be something that people can easily see!

HAHA sometimes, not even a week! Take a weekend off and the most rabid people will start assuming it's been abandoned, or something happened to you! It's not like a dev has other things going on, or might need to sleep, eat, or just fuck around, after all! We're cyborgs, not people, you know? :P

Not to mention, people who have never tried to make a game are always wondering why a decent one can't just be summoned into existence within weeks. I can't count the number of times I've either read other people being asked, "What's taking so long?" or have been asked that same question myself.
