Honestly, Disney taking Star wars over and milking it to death has been a huge downturn imo.

Overall, the only types of people who should have a car are businesses, hobbyists (because I’ll be nice), and people who live so out in the middle of nowhere that public transportation is not an option. And those vehicles should be off-road capable, because them roads should be cheap af.

Also, the focus on accommodating cars in urban and suburban planning has in practice destroyed communities that could otherwise be thriving.
