This was not mine, and I apologise for reposting this one here, but also I absolutely don't.

Just had a look at what the news channels had to say about the Caerphilly by election and this is a really profound difference in emphasis, isn't it.

This is how very small children carry cats.

My Venus brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like "she's got no arms"...

Also this, which is one of the very few things he actually wrote about his own politics, tells us he most certainly wasn't a far fight kind of guy. Doesn't tell us much else, of course, personally I think most of his politics boiled down to 'I like trees'.

I really want to about Zia Yusuf telling at members of the public for being biased against Reform.

I know there are more important reasons that this man is one of the most despised people alive, but genuinely one of the reasons I personally hate him so much is how gut wrenchingly abysmal his personality is. One of the most dismal wankers you could ever meet, totally lacking in savoir faire.

I would like it if the world could no longer be governed by the worst and stupidest people in it. I am tired of these dull characters, their beliefs, their proclamations.

Five years ago today Ella and I went to the centre for a Black Lives Matter demonstration and witnessed history as a bunch of people tore down a monument celebrating the slave trader Edward Colston. The statue was dragged though the streets and dumped in the same waters where his ships made harbour.

Okay but so can a computer that uses valves built 70 years ago by actually impressive tech pioneers so, like, what's your point.

Hard to overstate the radicalising effect the US administration is already having on both left and right. The social contract in the US was at breaking point before the election, it cannot hold for four more years of this poison.

Today is my beloved wife's birthday so yesterday we went for a walk up Glastonbury Tor, then went clubbing. I'm... Not as healthy as I'd hoped, because this morning my legs feel like they're close to falling off. I did see a road called 'Butt Close' and laughed way too hard though.

Totally agree. I was there when the statue of Colston was toppled in Bristol, then a couple of years later walked past this one late at night when there was nobody around, didn't notice it until I was basically next to it, and had a moment of genuine terror. It was awesome.

This is a lie. This isn't bending the truth, or wordplay, this is just a *lie* from a newspaper that long ago gave up pretending to be anything other than some tory propaganda leaflet. If you work for the Telegraph you're culpable, if you believe Starmer said this you're an idiot.

The lookalike competition had me in genuine stitches.

Seeing quite a few people dunk on the Clifton Suspension Bridge and museum's announcement that they're leaving twitter, and to a certain extent that's fair, but I do feel the need to point out to those who don't know that it is, in fairness, one hell of a bridge.

Getting a few spam accounts following me for some reason, some fake ones too. Some of the fake ones are easier to spot than others, there are often subtle clues that give the game away.

To be honest I'm kind of glad he didn't go big on tech when he was in office. I don't think he's demonstrated very keen instincts when it comes to tech. At least not in recent years.

Tony Blair lurching from whatever dimension old war criminal bird demons inhabit to give advice about tech to the new government, is it? Well that's reassuring.

The generations in this country live in completely different and totally incompatible worlds. This lukewarm statement, which everyone under retirement age sort of shrugs at, is the *front page headline* for the Mail. No wonder the print media industry is dying.

My Grandad, Fred Brown, spent D-day as Chief Petty Officer under Captain Walker in this bucket of bolts, HMS Starling, hunting U-boats to keep the landing force safe. The captain would die of a cerebral haemorrhage three days later as a result of overwork and exhaustion.

Less than 15 minutes into the #ITVDebate and I've had to break out the vodka. Really can't stand this format. Also Sunak stfu, you sound like a tetchy tosser and it's annoying when you try to shout over everyone else xoxoxo
