I'd say more "blissfully ignorant" than specifically calm. He has no idea how he got here, or where he's going next, but "by golly there always seems to be some commotion. Oh, and this minor thing seems to be out of place, lemme just adjust that."

A walking Deus Ex Machina, but as a chill rando.

(Like for example, a meltdown at a nuclear power plant. While everyone else is panicking, my "Problem Solver" just kinda looks at the control computer for a few seconds, types a single line of code, and saves the day. And usually while absently nomming on a giant roast turkey leg or something)

I barely have the main cast conceptualised (most of them are still rocking place holder names), let alone side characters.

That said, I do have an idea I mess around with - a background guy who wanders into dramatic scenes unnoticed, does some minor act which solves the problem, then wanders off.

5, easy. It's already got a reputation as one of the "silliest" ones (despite having a seriously dark story at times), and he'd fit in as a gag character in any major town.

Or just stick him in the Void where there's fewer rules.

Sounds like a half honey, half peanut butter novelty sandwich.

Classic Feud, or Steve Harvey era?

(Technically, it's possible to implant cloned hair follicles in the setting, but with such extensive burning, they had to choose between hair or nerve endings. They went with the logical choice)

During the incident in which Meg got her powers, her body was badly burnt and injured. Although doctors were able to repair her skin, the hair follicles underneath were damaged beyond saving. As a result, Meg's body is completely hairless.

She has since gotten eyebrow tattoos, but not much else

Maybe a special exemption / "grandfather clause" for the Vengaboys - We Like To Party (The Vengabus)?

Oh man... your dear leader is looking to go down in a hail of gunfire and drag y'all down with him. My condolences.

That's how he gets ya ; p

Seriously though, he is one of the more morally upstanding members of the crew. He takes up the mantle of "villain" willingly, but he's not given to violence by nature. Being "the bad guy" is useful for furthering his ultimately noble goal to topple the government.

• Jez: takes care of lunch and snacks. Works on her assigned part but ends up either turning in 90% of the work on time, or 100% of the work a few days late.
• Viktor: Works diligently on exactly his assigned work, and no more. Turns in excellent work early so he can go do other stuff
November 22, 2025 at 11:07 PM
• Meg: sitting around playing on her phone
• Tony: does the majority of the work without much complaint
• Dr. T: offers to divide the work evenly, finishes his part early, and quietly helps chip in to cover for slackers (Meg).

"Yeah, you're prob'ly right"
November 22, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Not really. He loves his sister, and appreciates that if she's coming in for a hug it comes from a place of love. So he might put up with it, but not necessarily enjoy it.

Generally, Jez knows better than to try hugs, offering a respectful fist-bump instead.

Meg doesn't enjoy most physical touch, unless it's in a strictly sexual context - the consequences of needing frequent invasive medical treatments, but maintaining a high libido.

Tony doesn't enjoy being touched at all, but his sister Jez is a fiend for hugs and cuddles.

Great game, but sadly plagued by the twin demons of 90s era poin 'n click adventure games - crap controls (unless you had the Playstation mouse), and some questionable logic / puzzle answers (most of which explainable die to the setting).

But it's still excellent - the voice actors crushed it
November 22, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Is he really a villain, or just cursed with an insatiable hunger and desire for accumulating material goods?

A surprisingly complex character, and a brilliant addition to the green lantern / emotional spectrum lore

By Azura! You're the champion!
November 21, 2025 at 9:24 PM
(Dr T will remember that)

Jez enjoys baking as a hobby, but tends to make small mistakes in the process. The results are generally pretty good, but aesthetically lacking. And there might be a clump of un-mixed flour in your cookie, but you'll be too polite to point out out.
November 21, 2025 at 1:12 AM
• Meg: beer and chips
• Tony: forgets to bring anything, orders KFC
• Dr T: a single unassuming vegetable. Nobody understands how it was painstakingly raised by hand and not just cloned or made of protein paste
• Jez: Cookies and cakes
• Viktor: various smoked meats and BBQ ribs

It's true nature is pretty spoiler-y, but it's entrenched itself as the planet's ruler, and serves as the "larger scope" antagonist of the setting.

The inspiration is (loosely) Vetenari, from the Discworld books. A tyrannical dictator that most regular people are... just kinda "fine" with.
