Now on Bluesky!
But after seeing those examples coming from two different places, I believe the discussion around how effective can bullets be against Jedi would be... it depends on what the writer of that particular story decided it to be?

For what I could find, Jedi *can* block bullets by either using the force or with their light saber, in the latter case, bullets seem to not bounce off or evaporate like how plasma bolts from blasters do, instead, the bullets go through and melt as molten shrapnel.

I kinda had to investigate a bit but it seems actually bullets are quite effective against Jedi as shown in some instances in shows and comics, is just blasters outperform traditional firearms in dealing against all other common threats and that's why blasters are more common.

Yeah but small potatoes compared to the bigger and most important factions whom will get crushed within seconds and we still need to see how jedi fair against bullets.

Meanwhile Orks get frustrated and bored because no Star Wars faction gives them a good krumping since everyone is either humies or humie-shaped whom shoots lasers from a distance.

I see this trope as the japanese equivalent of the western trope of the father whom pulls out the shotgun towards any boy of his daughter's age whom dares step within a radius around his daughter, which I hate equally as the anime overobsessed elder sibling trope

I mean, there are pieces of horror media which make effective horror under daylight, like Midsommar or This House Has People in It, or some that happen during day time but with bad weather like Nobody Lives Under The Lighthouse. But I would say it's harder to pull off than a horror in a dark scene.
