It's important to remember what austerity actually is, and understand that the government could easily save tens of £billions just by refusing to pay interest on the bailout cash the Bank of England magicked up out of nowhere and credited to the private banks after they tanked the economy.

It's important to remember what austerity actually is, and understand that the government could easily save tens of £billions just by refusing to pay interest on the bailout cash the Bank of England magicked up out of nowhere and credited to the private banks after they tanked the economy.
When needed, the establishment can certainly rely on the Guardian, witness it's leading role in undermining Corbyn. It seems that's not enough though and the billionaire backed Tortoise Media is now poised to take over the Observer.

What with all the noise around a certain man, I just want to say those three finalists on #MasterChef Professionals were astonishing. And apart from the food, they were collaborative, kind and respectful. They are the best of the best.
