Some very good individual performances here and there but not really delivering when it really matters like tonight. Def worried he might be another Brecel

Dissappoiting from Zhao, Judd wasn't really that much better but ZXT just let Trump off the hook big time. The standard Zhao showed on Tuesday would've been easily enough to win tonight but that's been the story of his season so far.

OMG I can't believe this actually happened!!! But dear me didn't Jack need quite bit help from his "big brother". Normally Judd would just clear up in the decider but guess things that were never meant to happen just tend to happen this year in sports

Like Willo said before the final think the record he just set for oldest ranking winner ever will be beaten by another class of 92 player if not this year atleast in few years time
October 14, 2025 at 10:04 PM
But that's the beauty of the sport, the most inform player at the moment can suddenly get absolutely hammered by a player that barely scraped through the final. Still consider the Magician as an underachiever despite his current run of form, just too inconsistent to become a real legend of this game

Earlier rounds Willo actually played like a 50 year old but when it really mattered MJW stepped into another gear and showed why he's an all time great and why Shaun is just a very good player. Beforehand everything pointed out it would be Willo that would get heavily battered in the final

Won every match with ease despite not even showing his best at this tournament. Think the first round match was actually his best game, no one actually played well against Zhao. For sure he has the ability to multiple world championships but next time surely opponents put more of challenge

Why couldn't he perform in afternoon sessions I just wonder? Fair enough, great comeback but way too late. Zhao was good but far from unplayable to go 17-8 up. Can't help but think Judd would've offered more of a game for Zhao

Insane comeback and even more remarkable considering recent years near misses and all the other close defeats. At 8-5 thought John was down and out and Selby would comfortably run away with it but my god that was brilliant from Wizard.

And just left too much to do for afternoon session. Played well in second session, esp the clearance in 15th frame was fabolous 👌 but the damage was already done in morning

Fair to play John for being able get over the line after those countless near misses. And with a century break as well, not like the match ball was left over the pocket or anything like that. Didn't see the morning session but guess JO'C just didn't perform like he had previously in the tournament

Very expected from Rocket, after withdrawing from Masters didn't think he would play anywhere before Crucible
March 1, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Shame, a win was without a doubt possible as you kept Michael behind over 2/3 of race distance. But clearly it looks like winning needs either a perfect performance or something has to go wrong for MSC. Just like in real life he's just class of his own
February 6, 2025 at 10:47 PM
And also his safety game is far from world class. Usually when Shaun wins he just pots everything and scores heavy but don't think he can win when the game goes scrappy. Working with Peter Ebdon should help you'd think though and potentially could make Murphy more regular tournament winner

No way Magician would've performed like this against those two I mentioned. Against Trump his H2H isn't overall that bad but when it really matters The Ace of the Pack would win every single time. The less we talk about H2H vs Rocket the better...

Seeing how Shaun played this tournament makes me think how can't he perform like this more consistently. Considering his ability 11 ranking titles and now four majors feels an underachievement. I think what he lacks is to be able to perform like this against Ronnie and Judd.
January 19, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Trump didn't play that great then but Wilson just lost the plot after winning first two frames and Judd ran away for a comfortable win. At 3-2 it looked like it would head same way again but now Kyren actually scored from his chances.
January 19, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Can't help but think Judd feels different pressure playing against Kyren. But based on their recent UK semi-final thought Warrior wouldn't trouble the world no 1 at all.
January 19, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Hard to believe how poor Judd was compared to his performance against Ding. Only 24 hrs ago felt he is totally invincible, every credit to Kyren for stepping up for the occassion. Esp the century in final frame was pure class
January 18, 2025 at 11:58 PM
Don't think it will matter whether it's Pistol or Magician in final, felt if Judd was ever going to get beaten, Luca would've been the player to do so as the Bullet can produce something that even world no 1 would struggle to cope with
January 18, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Shame, would've prefered Luca to win as it would've made tomorrow's evening session so much more exciting. Where as with Kyren it's almost guaranteed Judd will play in the final and very likely the Ace would win it as well.
January 18, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Interesting, the stats show pot rate instead of pot success rate on WST app. Does the pot rate count the pergentage of potted balls from all the shots? No way pot success rates were that low, think both players had about 80% pot success
January 16, 2025 at 11:51 PM
But where as with Luca he can easily click into another gear and win the whole event. I really think he will beat Kyren in QF, Warrior didn't show anything great against Zhang, only just stepped up in decisive moments. Bit like Luca tonight.
