It never ceases to amaze me that when someone who genuinely knows what they are holding and looking at explains it, then the most mundane thing can become instantly fascinating! :-)

To add some context, this is him blessing my parent’s tups. Dad is Kirk of Scotland but essentially agnostic, mum is Catholic. The local priest laid a farm visit on as a parish outing, somewhat before the Cardinal himself was outed as a sexual predator.

I was confirmed by this dubious man so I’m not sure the act holds water, holy or otherwise!
