Farm boy at @themerl.bsky.social (at Uni of Reading). Looks after old rural stuff in a big shed. On committee of British Agricultural History Society. Active in AIMA, RMN, and Folklore Society. Views own. “Iconic”.
Oooh, exciting! Not that I ever seem to have time to listen back to things. But I’ll bookmark your previous message in hope!

That alone is worth someone establishing an All Party Parliamentary Group, surely!

Arrrghhh. Yes! The lack of standardised can stackability is an absolute horror show. Wealthy food system moguls playing mind games with people who use tins.

Argument to convince Reform: Growth. Fewer cruffins. Plus, a resurgence in the making of good old fashioned cupcakes ensures that rainbow sprinkles and fairies remain cake-based phenomena.

Argument to convince Conservatives: Also growth. Plus, fewer people buy foreign-sounding, intersectional abominations, such as cruffins.

Wish I’d seen this earlier!

Many thanks! I will read the digital version of the report and will also email now for a hard copy for our library. We museum folk are inextricably wedded to tangible hands-on stuff!
