What services do people use and recommend for email sending? Both transactional and marketing
Previously used Sendgrid for years when I got the Github Student Developer pack, but they have now discontinued that plan completely

You can build little surveys with it, and then trigger it just at the right time, e.g. based on a button click, or a certain element being visible. It's great for gathering contextual feedback at just the right time
