Juanita, leaving mass, runs into her daughter and son-in-law in the street. "Oh, I won't go up right away," she says. "Agatha is waiting for me at the café with Julia". It's 8:30 p.m. They just walked past the café; Agatha and Julia aren't there either. They say ok ok and go up to the apartment. 🙏

Exactly what my mother in law went through. For some reason that generation will drop everything and answer the phone. Like my kid will be describing her school day in incredible detail and she will get cut off because the trash company is calling to let them know pickup is a day late.

En observant les réseaux sociaux, je constate qu'aujourd'hui, il faut être pour ou contre, la nuance n'existe plus. On est soit bon, soit mauvais. Cette simplification excessive conduit aux pires résultats, quel que soit le camp qu'on défend. Pitoyable.
