it was an opp to talk about how bad TOD in the US is, and how seattle's building and zoning codes - while better than most of the US - are pretty bad for producing high quality homes

these are the kinds of streets where dense affordable housing is largely limited to in seattle.
if we want to provide high quality, family-friendly, multigenerational social housing in walkable neighborhoods - these aren't the kinds of places we should be building.

Tout se passe comme si on avait oublié que l’éducation à la petite enfance était d’abord et avant tout… de l’éducation. Pas un commerce ni un luxe, mais un droit – le droit à l’éducation des tout-petits, qui n’est pas moins important que celui des plus grands.
