New findings from an RTPI survey of more than 2,500 planners reveal that 20% of respondents in the UK expect to leave the profession within the next three years – with no clear pipeline to replace them.

The housing affordability numbers used in England in the updated standard method for assessing local housing need were published today. Our analysis shows that affordability has improved slightly due to earnings growth but is still low compared with 1997. www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...

ONS aren’t on Bluesky yet but we published this yesterday - shows that the average home in London isn’t ‘affordable’ for any household income decile. In 3 other regions, the ave. home is only ‘affordable’ to the top income decile 🏡
