Colleagues in my team published this article on Tuesday, exploring data from the FCA on first time buyer mortgages. Very interesting insights, including that FTBs are increasingly moving out of major cities amid record high house prices and the search for more space. www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...

ONS aren’t on Bluesky yet but we published this yesterday - shows that the average home in London isn’t ‘affordable’ for any household income decile. In 3 other regions, the ave. home is only ‘affordable’ to the top income decile 🏡
